Producers van de aankomende Oscaruitreiking blijven ondanks alle kritiek achter hun keuze staan voor Chris Rock als presentator van de show. De stand-up comedian sprak in het Amerikaanse blad Entertainment Weekly over een "fashion show" dat alleen wordt bekeken door homo's.
