Horrorschrijver Stephen King, wiens werk veelvuldig is gebruikt voor succesvolle (en minder succesvolle) films, maakt voor ABC een 15 uur durende dramaserie, geinspireerd op Riget / The Kingdom van Lars von Trier. De serie start in maart en heeft als naam Kingdom Hospital. De regie is in handen van Craig Baxley.
