De verfilming van de videogame Tekken heeft eindelijk een regisseur. Over het project wordt al vele jaren gesproken, en Charles Stone III (Mr 3000) stond ooit genoteerd als regisseur, maar dat zal er niet meer van komen. De man die de leiding wél op zich zal nemen is Dwight Little, hij was eerder verantwoordelijk voor onder andere The Hunt for the Blood Orchid en Murder at 1600.

Little: "The film plays out as a science fiction story set in the near future, about a rebel who rises up against the Tekken Corp. to seize freedom for his people. It's a gladiator story, but the videogame has a complicated enough storyline that it provides the template for a martial arts spectacular."
