Disney Studios heeft toegezegd om The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, het bekendste boek van C.S. Lewis uit The Chronicles of Narnia reeks, te produceren, distribueren en mede te financiëren. De film zal volop gebruik maken van CGI, en zal geregisseerd worden door Andrew Adamson (Shrek).
