Volgens Wes Anderson gaat het momenteel weer goed met Owen Wilson. De acteur deed kort geleden een zelfmoordpoging, maar is volgens de regisseur van onder andere The Royal Tenenbaums "doing very well". Anderson regisseerde Wilson in zijn nieuwe film The Darjeeling Limited, die aanstaande maandag op het filmfestival van Venetië zijn première beleeft. Naar alle waarschijnlijkheid zal Wilson daar dan ook voor promotie-doeleinden aanwezig zijn.

"We all miss having him here very much right now. Obviously he's been through quite a lot this week, but I can tell you that's he doing very well and making us laugh, and when he's ready he's going to speak for himself much better than any of us could. He's got a very good way with words."
