Hieronder een negental nieuwe foto’s van het laaiend enthousiast ontvangen The Master, de nieuwste film van regisseur Paul Thomas Anderson. Overigens vertelde hoofdrolspeler Philip Seymour Hoffman nog dat de film niet echt hét verhaal van Scientology-oprichter L. Ron Hubbard is. Daarmee werd het plot van de film tot nu toe altijd vergeleken, maar volgens Hoffman lijkt het verhaal van Lancaster Dodd, het personage dat hij speelt, totaal niet op Hubbard.

“It’s not the L. Ron Hubbard story… [Scientology] was one of the bigger movements at the time, but there were a lot of movements at that time. There’s nothing about how I’m behaving or talking that echoes [Hubbard]. I thought of a lot of other bigger-than-life personalities, charismatic people like Orson Welles.”
