Sinds Phase 4 van het MCU van start is, werkt Marvel Studios aan het uitdiepen van de franchise buiten het witte doek. De lancering van streamingdienst Disney+ bleek daarin een gouden zet; dat is nu echt het tweede thuis geworden van de franchise, met allerlei series.
Ms. Marvel
De serie Ms. Marvel is de eerstvolgende en de tweede MCU-serie die een gloednieuw personage opbouwt. Eerder zagen we Moon Knight dat doen en nu is het aan Ms. Marvel om een nieuwe heldin op te zetten en te lanceren.
In de serie Ms. Marvel zien we Kamala Khan. Zij is een tiener en echt enorm fan van Captain Marvel.
Het liefst wil ze zelf een superheld zijn. Nadat Kamala ontdekt dat ze echt superkrachten heeft, komt ze op een pad van een held en voegt ze zich uiteindelijk bij haar heldin, Captain Marvel.
Maar slaagt de serie? We doen een greep uit de vele eerste reacties!

In terms of comic accuracy, there is of course the power change, but in linking it to Kamala's heritage, it might just pay off. Seeing as I've only seen Ep 1 and Ep 2 though, it's too soon to say.
