Nu zijn de eerste reacties op het vervolg Wonder Woman 1984 online verschenen. De reacties komen van filmjournalisten die de tweede film na Birds of Prey in het DC Extended Universe in 2020 al hebben mogen zien.

En zoals vaker moet je niet al teveel waarde hechten aan deze reacties. Vaak zijn ze erg positief en blijkt de uiteindelijke ontvangst toch iets milder. Maar wie weet is het dit keer anders.
Zo wordt de film "een absolute hit" genoemd en het einde zou zeer emotioneel zijn. En de film zou mogelijk zelfs beter zijn dan de eerste film. Maar er is ook al wat kritiek. Niet alles zou even logisch zijn. Wonder Woman 1984 verschijnt op 16 december in de Nederlandse bioscoopzalen. Ga jij?

I prefer Wonder Woman to Wonder Woman 1984. But I also much prefer seeing filmmakers take new, big swings with sequels and that's definitely what Patty Jenkins and co. do here. I think what surprised me most was that the message #WW84 leaves you with feels even more important to hear at the end of this year in a way @PattyJenks couldn't have predicted when she made it. Also, it just is so exciting to have big, joyful, blockbuster movies coming out again
