Indiana Jones 4 is een film die al lang in de planning staat maar nog niet echt op lijkt te schieten. George Lucas, als schrijver en producer verbonden aan de vierde film in de reeks, liet MTV weten dat er momenteel nog steeds geschaafd wordt aan het script:
[eng]"We just keep working on it. You know, we just write and write and write and write and write. But we are getting closer, and hopefully this year we will have a start date and we will have a script that we all love and hopefully it will come out next year."[/eng]
Hoofdrolspeler Harrison Ford liet onlangs nog weten dat hij er nog steeds zin in heeft maar dat de voorbereidingen niet eeuwig moeten duren.
[eng]"It's looking very good to do another one. I haven't felt this positive about it happening in a long time. But if it doesn't happen in the next two years we should all forget it."[/eng]
