Volgende week verschijnt de nieuwe film van Christopher Nolan in de bioscoop. Dit keer geen The Dark Knight of sciencefictionfilm, maar een grauwe oorlogsfilm. De eerste online reacties zijn nu binnen. Uiteraard wordt aangeraden om de film in IMAX te gaan kijken, maar wat is er nog meer zo speciaal en zelfs verrassend aan Dunkirk? Let op wat milde spoilertjes.
De 107 minuten durende film zou je op het puntje van je stoel zetten, met non-stop actie en prachtige beelden. Maar er zou ook weinig echt gefocust worden op een bepaalde personages en dialoog zou beperkt zijn. Zo zou Tom Hardy niet meer dan 10 regels tekst hebben. Wel wordt het spel van Harry Styles, de oud-One Direction-zanger, gewaardeerd.
De film over Operation Dynamo is opgenomen met IMAX en 65mm camera's en moet 20 juli in de bioscoop verschijnen. Hieronder een greep uit de online reacties.

DUNKIRK relies on v little dialogue, but is entirely impactful. We all know what happened on that beach, but Nolan's take is worth visiting.
