Acteur Channing Tatum en zijn vrouw Jenna Dewan-Tatum worden in 2013 voor het eerst ouders. Het stel ”are pleased to announce that they are expecting the birth of their first child next year" aldus woordvoerders tegenover People, het magazine die Tatum in november nog uitriep tot "PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive".

De acteur uit onder meer Magic Mike en de actrice uit American Horror Story: Asylum, beide 32 aar oud, lieten eerder al weten graag een kindje te willen: “I’m ready; I think she’s ready. The first number that pops into my head is three, but I just want one to be healthy and then we’ll see where we go after that.”

Het stel trouwde in 2009 in Malibu. Tatum grapte ook dat hij misschien wel meer dan tien kinderen zou willen hebben: “It’s really easy for us guys to say, ‘I want like 15 kids. Jenna will be like, ‘Well you better get another wife!’”
