Zoals te verwachten poppen er snel nog de eerste clips en nieuwe trailers en tv-spots op van Christopher Nolans The Dark Knight Rises voordat deze volgende week zo'n beetje wereldwijd in première gaat. Via onderstaande players kun je eerst kijken naar de gloednieuwe trailer "Journey", waarin ook beelden te zien zijn uit de voorgangers Batman Begins (2005) en The Dark Knight (2008). De tweede video is een tv-spotje waarin te zien is dat ook acteur Thomas Lennon een kleine rol heeft in TDKR.

Tevens liet regisseur Nolan tijdens een persconferentie doorschemeren dat hij toch iets heeft gedaan met de bekritiseerde stem van Bane: Not really. Some things are clarified and cleaned up. But we try to be true. I'm not really a big fan of ADR, so we try to be as true as possible to the recordings we do at the time. ...So for the IMAX scenes, because the IMAX cameras are incredibly noisy, you're then really in a position where what we would do on the set is immediately do a take without running the camera. And that way you'd get [the actors' voices] in the costume, in the physical positions that they're actually in when they're performing the scene. And those you can sync up very well to picture.

Afsluitend de promotionele poster voor de nachtelijke IMAX première. Dit soort "12:01" posters beginnen ondertussen steeds meer een vaste prik te worden. Waarschijnlijk wordt het affiche gratis verspreid tijdens deze vroege vogel-voorstelling, in de States:

In de opvolger van TDK neemt Batman, uiteraard weer gespeeld door Christian Bale, het op tegen de villain Bane (Tom Hardy). Ook krijgt hij te maken met Catwoman (Anne Hathaway). TDKR gaat op 20 juli officieel in première.
