Enkele maanden geleden werd er al een synopsis vrijgegeven van Ridley Scott's Prometheus. Nu blijkt echter dat men niet helemaal tevreden was met die synopsis, want op de officiële Facebookpagina van de film is deze nu aangepast tot het volgende:

"Ridley Scott, director of 'Alien' and 'Blade Runner,' returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race."

Nu dat ook uit de weg is, is het enige wat nog rest een boel promotiefoto’s, trailers, clips en al het andere waar we tegenwoordig platgebombardeerd mee worden door studio's.

Ridley Scott’s Prometheus met o.a. Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace, Idris Elba en Charlize Theron in de hoofdrollen draait vanaf 8 juni 2012 in de Amerikaanse bioscopen. Een Nederlandse releasedatum is nog niet bekend.
