De website Superman Homepage heeft via een openbare casting call voor figuranten in Vancouver een eerste officiële plotomschrijving van Superman: Man of Steel weten te achterhalen. Heel schokkend is het niet, maar duidelijk is dat de film redelijk terug gaat naar de beginfase van Supermans komst naar onze aarde.
