Natalie Portman, één van de hoofdrolspeelsters in Marvel's Thor, heeft per ongeluk aan MTV laten weten dat haar "goede vriendin" en tevens "geweldige actrice" Kat Dennings gecast is in Kenneth Branagh's film. Ze vertelde er echter niet bij om welk personage het zal gaan. Portman zelf speelt Jane Foster, de zuster van Thors menselijke alter-ego Donald Blake. De Asgardian Warrior Sif wordt gespeeld door Jaimie Alexander. Deze twee rollen vallen dus alvast af voor Dennings.
Op de website van /Film wordt gesuggereerd dat Dennings The Enchantress Amora zal gaan spelen, "één van de machtigste tovenaars in Asgard, met als specialiteit het verleiden en controleren van mensen." Hieronder is een afbeelding te zien van Amora:
