Zo is het nu de beurt aan DC's nieuwste project Black Adam. Of eigenlijk was het meer jarenlang het passieproject van Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson die uitvoerend producent is én de hoofdrol voor zijn rekening neemt.
De journalisten die na afloop de moeite namen om naar social media te reizen, lijken echt van de film te houden. Zo krijgt Johnson veel lof voor zijn performance van het personage dat op zijn lijf geschreven is.
De epische non-stop actie en het razend vlotte tempo worden verder gezien als de beste eigenschappen naast een uitstekende verhaalopbouw en het functioneel plaatsen van bouwstenen voor een groots universum.
