Sommige mensen smullen ervan, andere hebben er weinig of niets mee: films in 3D. Sinds 2009 is deze "hype" niet meer weg te denken uit de bioscoop. Verleden jaar verschenen er wereldwijd circa 60 films, van klein naar groot, met (alleen) een 3D-versie in de bioscoop. In 2017 zal dat niet anders zijn.
Hieronder 44 films, met name de grote blockbusters, die dit jaar naar alle waarschijnlijkheid met een 3D-versie in de bioscoop verschijnen. De lijst is ongetwijfeld niet helemaal compleet en er zijn wat twijfelgevallen, dus mocht je een aanvulling hebben: laat het weten op de gebruikelijke plaats!

Zo krijgen in ieder geval Journey to the West: Demon Chapter (28 januari), Once Upon a Time, Secret Treasure en The Three-Body Problem: I een driedimensionale versie.
