Na Blade: Trinity vorig jaar zal David Goyer zich binnenkort weer bezighouden met een comic op het witte doek. De Amerikaan neemt zowel de regie als het schrijfwerk op zich van de verfilming van The Flash, een creatie van DC Comics.

The Flash is in de comics het alter-ego geweest van een aantal verschillende, het kwam er echter in alle gevallen op neer dat deze in een strak rood pak was gehuld en verdraaid hard kon lopen. Acteur Ryan Reynolds (Van Wilder, Blade: Trinity) zal naar alle waarschijnlijkheid de hoofdrol spelen.
