Ryan Reynolds heeft een hoop projecten lopen. Een daarvan is Deadpool, maar of die film er komt lijkt nu in het geding. De film is nog altijd in productie, maar heeft geen regisseur. Daarnaast is er R.I.P.D., een film van Robert Schwentke, waaraan Reynolds ook wil werken.

Tijdens een gesprek met Reynolds ging het even over toekomstige projecten waaraan hij werkt. Een daarvan is The Change-Up (met Jason Bateman en Olivia Wilde) en Safe House, met Denzel Washington. Het ging ook even over Deadpool en R.I.P.D.

"People sort of ask this question [which one will you make?], like I have any say in the matter. They’re both movies I’m interested in, they’re both movies that are in fast-track development. But I never say I’m doing a movie until I break for lunch the first day. Because it’s such a crapshoot, this industry. Everything’s so fickle and so contingent on so many factors, aside from just an actor. And because it has an actor, and because these films have interested directors, it’s obviously likely that they’ll both get made. But I think it would be more likely that only one of them gets made with me," vertelde Reynolds.

Het lijkt er dus op dat hij een keus gaat maken tussen beide projecten. Daarnaast ging het kort over een mogelijk vervolg op Green Lantern, waarin hij de hoofdrol speelt: “Oh, yeah, we got to get that cart well in front of the horse, I guess.”
