Het is goed mogelijk dat Rosamund Pike (Pride & Prejudice, Surrogates) een jonge Emma Frost zal gaan spelen in Matthew Vaughns X-Men: First Class. Forces of Geek bericht dat Pike gespot is rond Lucinda Sysons castingbureau, waarmee Vaughn ook al samenwerkte aan Kick-Ass en Stardust. Pike had op dat moment een X-Men: Origins Emma Frost comic in haar handen. Dit hoeft natuurlijk helemaal niets te betekenen, maar het is en blijft leuk om een beetje te speculeren!

Wikipedia omschrijft het personage Emma Frost als volgt:

“Frost is an urbane, mutant telepath with a well-noted dry wit initially known as the White Queen (complete with revealing white attire for which she is known), Frost has changed from one of the X-Men’s most dangerous foes to one of its most central members.”

De synopsis van de film:

X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, following the classic Marvel mythology, charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga. Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Tahyna Tozzi speelde vorig jaar een jongere versie van Frost in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Wie weet neemt Pike het stokje van haar over in First Class, een film die overigens uit moet komen op 3 juni 2011.
