Robert Rodriguez, van wie we binnenkort Machete kunnen zien, heeft de rechten verworven tot een nieuwe verfilming van de in 1983 verschenen tekenfilm Fire and Ice. De remake zal gemaakt worden door Rodriguez's Troublemaker Studios.
