I'm happy to report that #Trap is an absolute banger. Old M. Night Shyamalan is back with this one. Josh Hartnett killed it and I'm here for his comeback pic.twitter.com/7O1HeFpJLe

M. Night Shyamalan gives a masterclass in building suspense for #Trap . Josh Hartnett is captivating and brings so much humanity to a dark character. He's absolutely brilliant in this film.

I was blown away by Saleka Shyamalan! She is a true triple threat in Trap. The way that... pic.twitter.com/PD3TpkaEQf
#TrapMovie was a fun thriller that's a return to form for M. Night Shyamalan! Blending the tones of the Halloween movies and the Hitman games, TRAP intricately blends these elements to create that ominous atmosphere.

If M. Night Shyamalan movies were Nine Inch Nails songs (which they are) Trap is his "Somewhat Damaged." Obviously this is a compliment. Even at a pace too long it's his best-engineered work since... let's say... The Village.

I guess I can share my thoughts on M. Night Shyamalan's Trap, which I generally liked. Josh Hartnett gives a goofy performance that I preferred to Cage in Longlegs. Will have more to say in my review, presumably next week.

Never doubt M. Night. What he accomplishes here is career defining greatness. The way everything builds to the finale, the tension... truly chef's kiss filmmaking. Cannot wait to see this with an audience. Bring your brown & yellow pants. JUST WOW.#TrapMovie pic.twitter.com/LyvZsTAyJK
