Hoewel de franchise als geheel zich de komende jaren blijft uitbreiden met een aantal verschillende live-action-projecten, zal dit de eerste animatiefilm in lange tijd zijn, dus er zijn veel verwachtingen van fans.

Onlangs was er een screening met aanwezige fans en die zijn overweldigend enthousiast, aangezien ze opmerken dat dit het beste 'Transformers'-deel is tot nu toe met lof voor de actie, komedie en karakterwerk van de castleden.
De film brengt ons het onvertelde oorsprongsverhaal van Optimus Prime en Megatron, beter bekend als gezworen vijanden, maar ooit waren ze als broers die het lot van Cybertron voor altijd veranderden.

Got another winner for you -- #TransformersOne. Big fan of the animation style used for this one. Great balance of CG vibrancy with texture and detail. I especially kept getting hooked on shots of the characters aboveground with those stunning landscape backgrounds.
