In Nederland gaat dit niet gebeuren, aangezien de zalen nog minimaal een paar weken gesloten blijven en er nog geen online release aangekondigd is. In de States zijn er ondertussen screenings voor de pers geweest.
Eerste online reacties
Uiteraard zijn de eerste online reacties via Twitter weer bijzonder positief. De film zou namelijk exact doen wat je van zo'n film verwacht: heel veel gevechten die echt voor op het witte doek / IMAX zijn. De meeste recensenten laten weten dat de acteerprestaties, net als in vooral Godzilla: King of the Monsters uit 2019, erg mager zijn.

I absolutely hated the prior Godzilla movie. So here's the utmost praise I can give a movie like GODZILLA V. KONG: it is a coherent movie with daytime fights and I could always see what was going on. I truly mean that as a compliment.

The human scenes are exactly what you expect and not worth talking about.
