Steven Spielbergs DreamWorks Studio lijkt aardig wat animatie-plannen voor de nabije toekomst te hebben, zo meldt Animated-News.

"The film, based on an original pitch from writers Cyrus Voris and Ethan Reiff, will be produced at Pacific Data Images, and tells the story of a kung fu-fighting panda who battles against a gang of snow leopard bandits that have come down from the highlands to invade the bamboo jungle".

Space Monkeys
"Set in the 1950s, centers on a team of monkeys involved in the NASA space program. Surprisingly, it was pitched by Ash Brannon, formerly of Pixar, who may also be on board to direct".

Chicken Run 2
"DreamWorks also registered a domain in the name of Chicken Run 2. Again, no real details on this yet, so it could mean anything - but are the team at Aardman looking to return to Tweedy country after completing the Wallace and Gromit movie The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit"[/eng]

Dan nog een drietal films waarover geruchten gaan dat ze op de planning staan: Mike of Arabia, Giant Gingy en Rex Havoc and the Atomics. Er wordt ook nog melding gemaakt van twee films die niet meer gerealiseerd zullen worden: The Shadow Project en Toad Trip.
