Een tijdje geleden nog berichtten we dat het scenario van Bill & Tedd 3 bijna klaar was. Nu blijkt dat het scenario - hoewel iets eerder dan hoofdrolspeler Keanu Reeves verwachtte, al klaar is. Alex Winter, die naast Reeves een hoofdrol vervulde in de films, vertelde dat via Twitter.

Het plot van de film is als volgt. When we last got together, part of it was that Bill and Ted were supposed to have written the song that saved the world, and it hasn’t happened… So they’ve now become kind of possessed by trying to do that. Then there’s an element of time and they have to go back.

Daarnaast gaf Winter nog te kennen dat hij de film echt enkel wilde maken als er een goed idee was, dat ongeveer in lijn was met de eerste twee films. Dat blijkt hij nu wel te geloven: [T]he truth is that, yeah, we have finally hit upon an idea that we think is pretty great.

Wanneer Bill & Ted 3 in de bioscopen te zien moet zijn, is niet bekend.
